Longest Beard? -- Even good things should come with a limit

We at Beard Care Products have always been a fan of facial hair -- the more the better -- but there is a moderation to everything (think: toxic mortgages aka financial meltdown).

The ideal is to have facial hair but not so much that starts reaching your feet! We have to draw the line at that. So when the Guinness Book of World Records measured the guy with the longest beard -- we weren't impressed.

But in a spirit of sharing the pics with you click here to visit Dude with Longest Beard

A Beard Conditioner just for you

There is only 1 place that you can get quality products for your beard at fantastic prices and with free shipping on US orders of $50 of more.

More than anything else -- the beard requires conditioning whether you have new growth or a veteran grower. The need arises due to the trapped dirt which gets clogged in your facial hair and the itching/scratching that results with dry skin beneath.

But here we encounter a small problem: Which beard conditioner to choose? Thats because our online shop carries quite a variety. So what's the answer to the $64,000 question?

Here we go...and the answer is free (just buy our product when you finish reading this post and we'll be all squared!) The best solution is to choose a product that combines products that contain potent ingredients to soothe and condition both the hair follicles and the skin at the same time. Oils such as jojoba, hazelnut, olive, apricot kernel and the super-plant aloe all have properties to help you with this task.

We are sure we have a beard conditioner specially suited for you and your skin. From organic based ingredients to various oil products, we have a description of each ingredient and we highlight what that particular oil is known for.

Some customers prefer using one or more products at a time and feel comfortable moving from one product to another. Others like to stick with 1 specific beard conditioner and both options really depend on what works for you.

Start off by reading each description carefully, and if you need our advice just email us at orders (at) beardcareproducts dot com and don't forgot to replace the at sign with @

got beard? [ FREE Sticker Promotion! ]

FREE Stickers!!! Starting immediately, we are offering our "got beard?" stickers free with all beard care product orders [while supplies last!], regardless of order amount. These cool stickers are probably one of the very few stickers about beards printed anywhere.

Display your beardness with our stickers -- free! Everybody gets bumper stickers to proclaim their thoughts, opinions, so why not us bearded ones. Finally -- we have our own bumper sticker.

Even if you're not a sticker junkie or have never had a bumper sticker -- you'll enjoy this sticker because you've just reversed the question from: "Why keep a beard?" to one of "Why don't you have a beard?" as evident from "got beard?"

So the answer to the question "got beard?" could vary between "yes" and "no" [no maybe's or multiple-choice on this one]. So if the answer is "Yes I have a beard" -- then: Man, get some beard care products and take care of it. If "no", then, boy are you missing out on something.

Not to mention the fact that we hope to get in some marketing points in this way. Hey -- we have to plug our business too right?

The Beauty of the Beard

For centuries and centuries beards have been in vogue and always popular, always manly, and always attractive. There was one tiny blip in history (mainly the last century) with the onset of the Industrial Revolution that saw a shift towards the dreaded razor. But as all things must return to their roots we are discovering the artificialness of shaving.

But even that small blip of history where beards were relegated towards a dark corner, is now vanishing. Beards are making a comeback -- and back in style. From John Doe to Johnny Depp, beards are all around you.

People are waking up and realizing the aura of authority and manliness - a beard conveys to its grower.

Yes, there certainly is an inherent beauty in the beard -- and here is a great article on the beauty of the beard

Growing a Beard in Protest?

With the recent strikes by the Writers Guild of America, beards have received an amazing 'spotlight' as a protest tool.

As a result when late night talk show hosts David Letterman and Conan O’Brien returned to work -- both were sporting "strike beards" grown during the eight-week break period.

Letterman in particular resembled a veteran beard aficionado with the full salt n' pepper beard he's grown. Conan O'Brien meanwhile went for the trimmed look for his reddish-brown facial hair. They were grown partly a show of solidarity with the Writers Guild of America -- and I would assume that some of those striking writers have a beard by now too (the men anyways -- because who's got time to shave when you're striking and worried about how you are going to pay the bills?).

The change in facial appearance didn't pass without comment though. Guest Robin William couldn't help teasing Letterman: "My God, man, you've aged."

Now whose beard looks better? Well, we'll let you decide. Vote for it here

My choice is hands down: Letterman.
